Finishing the Powerpoint

Today in class we finished going over the Rome powerpoint. We discussed the economy of Rome after rome took over carthage. Since most of the roman farmers were out fighting the war the only people who tended the farm land were the wives of the farmers. Since they didnt know how to do this, the rich would buy the land and make the farmers wive pay rent for where they lived. When the soldiers came home they would want to move to rome to get a better job with a better pay. But most of Rome was filled with slaves and other people looking for work.
